Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ½ white pearl onion, chopped
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 284 grams of canned tuna (2 cans)
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano or dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 450 grams pasta, cooked according to package directions

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large skillet.
  • Add the chopped onion and tomatoes, and cook for about 8-10 minutes.
  • Add the tuna and mix well, cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Add the oregano or basil, and adjust with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toss the sauce with the cooked pasta. Serve with fresh basil, parmesan cheese and olive oil to taste.
